Large mesmerising carved wood sculpture, by swedish sculptor Ebba Hedqvist (1909-2001), signed by the artist. Ebba Hedqvist was a sculptor and visual artist, grew up in Piteå and later studied at both the Accademia del Nudo in Rome and the Académie des Beaux-Arts in Paris. Best known are her sculptures in public parks and areas, her work is represented at the National Museum in Stockholm.
